When you think of the holidays, you think of twinkling lights! Delight in the wintery wonderland of Southeastern Wisconsin and head to any one of these ten holiday light displays to truly enjoy the season!

1. The Wisconsin Christmas Carnival of Lights

Jellystone Park’s Wisconsin Christmas Carnival of Lights in Caledonia is Southeastern Wisconsin’s biggest and brightest holiday lights display. Just 20 minutes south of Milwaukee, families will experience a unique drive-through holiday light show that stretches more than a mile with over 1.5 million lights.Facebook Share Image 12_4a2. Candy Cane Lane is the perfect holiday tradition for any family who loves Christmas lights. You’ll enter to find a winter wonderland with candy-cane wrapped trees, and over 300 houses full of festive holiday lights. You can drive or walk through. Don’t forget to leave a donation for the MACC fund!

 

3. Milwaukee Holiday Lights (Free) and $1 Jingle Bus Tours

The annual lights festival throughout downtown Milwaukee features animated holiday light displays in Cathedral Square Park, Pere Marquette Park and Zeidler Union Square. You can get an up-close look at the lights aboard the Jingle Bus, a Coach USA bus that takes visitors on a 40-minute tour narrated by Milwaukee Downtown’s Public Service Ambassadors. Tours depart from The Shops of Grand Avenue and cost $1.

 

4. Lights on Glen Cove (Free)

Marvel at over 35,000 LED lights synchronized to holiday music from 87.9 FM. The lights run every night starting at 5p.m. and running through 9 p.m. on weekdays and 10p.m. on weekends. Facebook Share Image 12_4b5. Country Christmas Lights Display

Each year, the land just west of the Ingleside Hotel transforms into a wooded winter wonderland called Country Christmas. Your admission will enable you to drive through the one-mile long Country Christmas Trail, which features over a million holiday lights. The highlight of the lights show is an other-worldly drive through a 200-foot tunnel of 30,000 twinkling lights.

 

6. Enchantment in the Park

Regner Park 800 N. Main Street, West Bend

This huge twinkling lights display in Regner Park is impressive for all ages. You can walk, drive, or take a carriage ride through, and Santa is there to visit with the kids. It gets very busy on the weekends, so visit during the week if you can. Bring a bag of non-perishable food items or $10 cash donation.

 

7. Miller Valley Holiday Lites (Free)

Drive through the historic Miller Valley at Christmas time and you’ll find a new holiday lights display each year. The illuminated valley comes alive with over half a million LED lights synchronized to music. The theme changes each year, and it’s totally free to drive through. Facebook Share Image 12_4c8. Celebrate the holidays with family and friends in the warmth of your vehicle when you drive the 1.1 mile forested route and enjoy animated and still displays with hundreds of thousands of lights choreographed to music heard through your radio at 89.1 FM. Experience entertainment, concessions, visits and photos with Santa, wreath raffles, and more when you visit Quarryview Center directly across from the park on Friday through Sunday nights.

 

9. Shalom Wildlife Drive Thru

Bring your family and friends and in the warmth of your own car drive slow, relax and enjoy the wildlife, the unique holiday displays and the holiday decorations. 10. Christmas in the Country

Millions of lights illuminate the 1,300 acres of the Grand Geneva. Drive through the holiday light display and continue inside The Lodge at Grand Geneva where mechanical holiday displays and a gingerbread house competition is available for viewing. Holiday tea service, breakfast with Santa and a Broadway-style musical featuring spectacular holiday costumes, music and dancing are also offered at the resort.
